We provide learners with the option to enroll in a single course, multiple courses, or join a
learning pathway upon completion of five courses–four required and a capstone.
The ELCA Southeastern Synod certifies all options.
Courses take place via Zoom and our online learning platform.
All required materials are covered in the course cost.
Synchronous courses occur on either Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday from 7-9 pm ET / 6-8 pm CT.
Asynchronous courses let you complete the content on your own schedule throughout the week.
Two remote coffees and a term celebration are included with all courses.
Outside of class sessions, only 1-2 hours of work per week is expected.
Tools and strategies you can use right away are embedded in the course design.
Each course concludes in a small project that you design for you and/or your context.
What are remote coffees? What is the term celebration?
Remote coffees and the term celebration are virtual gatherings that build community across courses. Remote coffees give learners and instructors a casual space to meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and reflect on learning and leadership. The term celebration honors accomplishments, spotlights learners’ mini-course projects, and looks ahead to what’s next.
How many courses can I take?
You're welcome to enroll in multiple courses. However, please consider your available time. Each course requires approximately 3-4 hours per week. For synchronous courses, you cannot enroll in two courses offered on the same day of the week.
