Capstone Course

The capstone course is the final step toward certification in a learning pathway. To register for the course, you must have successfully completed at least four courses at the practicing or leading levels.

During the course, you'll work with the Director, members of the Steering Committee, and peers to design a project, applying what you have learned in one or more Southeastern Synod congregational contexts. Although the specific focus of your project will be based on your interests and congregational needs, in general, all projects will result in action aligned with one or more aims of the Synod’s 2028 Vision: “equipping leaders and congregations to thrive in a changing world.”
